Elizabethtown was founded in 1773 and named The County Seat of
Bladen County. It is the fifteenth oldest town in North
Carolina. In 1912 W.M. Corbett opened Crystal Beach adjacent
to Goldston's and in 1939 installed the first amusement rides
at White Lake. White Lake is one of the five lakes in the
Bladen Lake region, the others being Baytree Lake, Singletary
Lake, James Lake and Salters Lake. Collectively they are known
as the Bay Lakes and all are respectively shallow with the
deepest reading at Singletary lake of 11.8 ft. There are

Driving Directions:
- North: From I-95 take exit 46 which is Hwy 87. Take a left
on Hwy 87 pass through Tar Heel and Dublin continue on Hwy 87
through Elizabethtown, the property is on the East end of the
town on left hand side on Hwy.
- South: From Whiteville follow 701 to Elizabethtown, at the
courthouse take a right and go 2 blocks on Hwy 87E and we are
located on the left side.
- East: On Hwy 87, as soon as you enter town we are on the
right hand side.
- West: From I-95 South take exit 20 in Lumberton. Make a
right on Hwy 211, go 4-5 stop lights then pass all fast food
restaurants like McDonalds Taco Bell and Wendys, you will see
Elizabethtown Road which is also known as Hwy 41, take left on
Hwy 41. Go straight for about 23 miles when in Elizabethtown
go straight through town, Hwy 41 turns left, follow sign for
Wilmington on Hwy 87. The property located on left.
- Airport: Fayetteville Airport- Follow directions as if
coming from North.
