Since 1874, The Wentworth has
welcomed business, political and social leaders from around the world. The
Wentworth restoration returns the hotel to its glamorous Victorian decor as
it becomes a premier Marriott resort. Located south of Portsmouth New
Hampshire on Route 1B and just one hour north of Boston, this grand hotel
and historical landmark is set on an island and surrounded by several other
small islands. The Wentworth features over one hundred guest rooms and
suites, most with harbor or ocean views, historic gardens, an outdoor pool,
tennis courts, two restaurants and ten thousand square feet of meeting and
banquet facilities. Hotel guests have exclusive access to golf at the
Wentworth by the Sea Country Club. A full-service spa includes an indoor
