CONVENTION CENTER

Located in the heart of
downtown Nashville, our guests are definitely
at an advantage. They have a
variety of restaurants, live music venues, NFL Titans football, NHL
Predators hockey, night clubs, The Country Music Hall of Fame and Frist Art
Museum.
We are connected to the
Renaissance Hotel and Gaylord Entertainment Center and offer 118,675 sq. ft.
of exhibit space, a newly updated ballroom and 25 meeting rooms. All of this
plus over 2,000 committable hotel rooms within walking distance.
The level of service our guests receive is second to none which makes
us “Beyond the Ordinary.”
EXHIBIT HALL
Located on the ground level,
the 118,675 square foot Exhibit Hall offers unlimited floor load, 27 foot
ceilings, minimal column obstructions and easy set-up and break-down with
drive on access through two 20' x 15' doors that lead from the underground
truck ramp. Six loading docks and three freight elevators provide additional
access to the main
hall floor.
The main Exhibit Hall can be divided into three sections. Undivided, the
Exhibit Hall can seat up to 9,000 people for general sessions, 6,000 for a
banquet dinner or house 615 10' x 10' booths.
NCC utility service supports any staging or booth needs. Utilities are
conveniently accessed through floor panels at 30-foot centers or column
access on 90-foot
centers.
Communications
Technology capabilities include fiber optic backbone, world-wide video
conferencing capabilities, Internet and e-mail access, as well as
business-to-business teleconferencing. Our connectionless data service (CDS)
lines provide for quick and clear transmissions. Standard utility accesses
include high-voltage electrical power, compressed air, natural gas, water
and
drainage.
Nashville's 20,000 capacity Gaylord Entertainment Center is directly
connected to the Nashville Convention Center exhibit floor. The 22-foot wide
connector that leads from the convention center under Broadway to the arena
allows easy access
to show attendees and staff.
The Nashville Convention Center is also complimented by an entrance on the
Broadway side of the building which faces the neighboring Gaylord
Entertainment Center. Entrance provides quick and easy access to Broadway's
exciting restaurants and entertainment venues including the Country Music
Hall of Fame.

ENTRANCE
The main entrance to
the Convention Center is on the third level, off Commerce Street.
This open, naturally lit space is a welcoming first impression for
visitors and show attendees. The spacious 13,000 square foot lobby
area and the open air garden terrace lend themselves to unique
reception sites. From this level, attendees can walk directly into
the Renaissance Nashville Hotel lobby. Attendees will also have
access from the Nashville Convention Center to the Gaylord
Entertainment Center from this lobby that
connects to the
Broadway Entrance also.
MEETING ROOMS &
BALLROOM
The Convention Center's 25 meeting rooms, ranging from 500 to 4,000
square feet, are located on the first and second levels with easy
access to the main Exhibit Hall. Two meeting rooms on the second
level feature large picture windows that provide an observation
point to the exhibit floor.
The 11,000 square foot Ballroom on the second level seats 1,000
people theater-style or 860 for banquet seating. Like the Exhibit
Hall, the Ballroom can also be divided into three separate rooms.
All of the meeting rooms offer set-up flexibility to customize each
meeting or meal function. Special lighting, telephone connections
and an array of audio visual services are available in every room.
